Summary Job Specification:

  • ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent.
  • Post qualification experience essential.
  • Would be working for a niche practice mainly handling private clients and their companies with a strong emphasis on tax advice and other consultancy.
  • Must be happy to work within a small team and with at least 50% office time.
  • Part time hours considered.
  • Essentials:
    • Producing limited company, LLP, partnership and sole trader accounts to FRS105/102 standard.
    • Manage own work allocation and time.
    • Prepare CT computations and returns.
  • Preferable:
    • Filing of Confirmation Statements and other Companies House documents.
    • Payroll.
    • VAT return preparation and filing.
  • Familiar with:
    • Accounting software – Excel, IRIS or similar.
